Bubble Blues

All the hysteria over Prez' comments about the North Korean Fat Boy, and his more recent jabs at the NFL's Kneeling Scum....is hilarous.

These morons have no idea that Prez is saying what normal, regular, sensible, informed, patriotic American are thinking.

And the boyz-in-the-bubble don't have a fucking clue.

Man, talk about a ROUT coming in 2020! They'll be as ready for it as they were for the harridan's loss.

And it will be just as beautiful, entertaining, and inspiring as that was.

Prez will be President for 8 glorious years.

God continues to Bless America.

Politics & Goverment in a Nutshell

I TOLD MY SON, "YOU WILL MARRY THE GIRL I CHOOSE."
HE SAID, "NO."

I TOLD HIM, "SHE IS BILL GATES' DAUGHTER."
HE SAID, "OK."

I CALLED BILL GATES AND SAID, "I WANT YOUR DAUGHTER TO MARRY MY SON."
BILL GATES SAID, "NO."

I TOLD BILL GATES, "MY SON IS THE CEO OF THE WORLD BANK."
BILL GATES SAID, "OK."

I CALLED THE PRESIDENT OF WORLD BANK AND ASKED HIM TO MAKE MY SON THE CEO.
HE SAID, "NO."

I TOLD HIM, "MY SON IS BILL GATES' SON-IN-LAW."
HE SAID, "OK."

AND THAT'S EXACTLY HOW POLITICS WORKS.

The king wanted to go fishing, and he asked the royal weather forecaster the forecast for the next few hours.  The palace meteorologist assured him that there was no chance of rain.

So the king and the queen went fishing.  On the way he met a man with a fishing pole riding on a donkey, and he asked the man if the fish were biting.

The fisherman said, "Your Majesty, you should return to the palace!  In just a short time I expect a huge rain storm."

The king replied: "I hold the palace meteorologist in high regard.  He is an educated and experienced professional. Besides, I pay him very high wages.  He gave me a very different forecast. I trust him."

So the king continued on his way. However, in a short time a torrential rain fell from the sky.  The King and Queen were totally soaked.

Furious, the king returned to the palace and gave the ordermto fire the meteorologist.  Then he summoned the fisherman and offered him the prestigious position of royal forecaster.

The fisherman said, "Your Majesty, I do not know anything about forecasting.  I obtain my information from my donkey.  If I see my donkey's ears drooping, it means with certainty that...it will rain."

So the king hired the donkey.

And thus began the practice of hiring asses to work in government; a practice unbroken to this day.

Mixed Feelings

I’ve mixed feelings for my President
I don’t know what to make of him
Some folks I know have said
They’ve had as much as they can take of him
He has a way of leaving
In his wake, a mound of messes
And a style that all too frequently
Steps on his own successes...

From My Firearms Instructor

12 Sept 17

How do you “feel?”

Senator Dianne Feinstein (D, CA) says we all have a right to “feel”  safe.

Funny, in my reading of our Constitution, I don’t see where any American  has a “right” to “feel safe,” nor for that matter, a right to “feel” anything!

Democrats are consumed with “feelings.”  The rest of us have to deal  with facts and reality, no matter how anyone “feels” about it!

Last Sunday evening in a Dallas, TX suburb, eight party-goers were shot by the disgruntled ex-husband of the hostess.  Hostess was among the casualties.

Seven were dead at the scene.  One died later at a hospital.  One  survived. The single suspect was shot to death at the scene by arriving LEOs Type/caliber of gun(s) used is unreported.

Terrible crime scene, worst in the town’s history!

I’m sure, right up until the moment shooting started, all present at the party were “feeling safe.”

Unfortunately, none were armed and trained!

“Feelings” didn’t protect them.  “Feelings” won’t protect you  either! Most people who buy electronic security for their homes, do so RIGHT AFTER they’ve been burglarized!   Suddenly, violent crime becomes all too  real to them, and they, at long last, wake up!

Unfortunately, taking personal responsibility for your own safety, RIGHT AFTER you’ve been murdered, is a moot point!

Dianne, and her high-roller, liberal friends, needn’t worry about any of this, as they enjoy protection provided by a literal army of heavily-armed security guards, 24/7.  So, they can afford to talk interminably about “feelings”

Down here in peon-land, the rest of us can’t, and dare not!

“No matter how many speeches a politician gives in favor of ‘gun control,’ it's a safe bet that his own bodyguards are always packing heat. Even when he's giving a speech at a school, post office, or other ‘gun-free zone,’ Secret  Service and other professional bodyguards apparently don't trust the ability of  ‘No Guns Allowed’ signs to keep shooters from hitting their targets. That's the  difference between our ‘public servants,’ and the public they ‘serve.’ Our  public servants' lives are considered much too valuable to risk in a ‘gun-free  zone.’” - Jennifer Abel

Don't Tread On Me - The Updated Version

The Tea Fucking Party, Motherfucker.

Railroad Tracks, Roman Chariots and Space Shuttles...

Railroad Tracks

The U.S. Standard railroad gauge (distance between the rails) is 4 feet, 8.5 inches.

That's an exceedingly odd number.

Why was that gauge used?

Because that's the way they built them in England, and English expatriates designed the U.S. Railroads.

Why did the English build them like that

Because the first rail lines were built by the same people who built the pre-railroad tramways, and that's the gauge they used.

Why did 'they' use that gauge then?

Because the people who built the tramways used the same jigs and tools that they had used for building wagons, which used that wheel spacing.

So, who built those old rutted roads?

Imperial Rome built the first long distance roads in Europe (including England) for their legions. Those roads have been used ever since.

And the ruts in the roads?

Roman war chariots formed the initial ruts, which everyone else had to match for fear of destroying their wagon wheels.

Since the chariots were made for Imperial Rome, they were all alike in the matter of wheel spacing.

Therefore, the United States standard railroad gauge of 4 feet, 8.5 inches is derived from the original specifications for an Imperial Roman war chariot.

In other words, bureaucracies live forever.

So the next time you are handed a specification, procedure, or process, and wonder, 'What horse's ass came up with this?', you may be exactly right.

Imperial Roman army chariots were made just wide enough to accommodate the rear ends of two war horses.

Now, the twist to the story:

When you see a Space Shuttle sitting on its launch pad, you will notice that there are two big booster rockets attached to the sides of the main fuel tank.  These are solid rocket boosters, or SRBs.  The SRBs are made by Thiokol at their factory in Utah.

The engineers who designed the SRBs would have preferred to make them a bit larger, but the SRBs had to be shipped by train from the factory to the launch site.

The railroad line from the factory happens to run through a tunnel in the mountains and the SRBs had to fit through that tunnel. The tunnel is slightly wider than the railroad track, and the railroad track, as you now know, is about as wide as two horses' behinds.

So, a major Space Shuttle design feature of what is arguably the world's most advanced transportation system was determined over two thousand years ago by the width of a horse's ass.  And you thought being a horse's ass wasn't important!  Now you know, Horses' Asses control almost everything.

Explains a whole lot of stuff, doesn't it?
..NOW YOU KNOW..

From Pete in Portland...

Howie Carr Column in Boston Herald, Sunday, September 2, 2017

Wake up America!!

"How many flood victims in South Texas have been rescued by the antifa navy?

Just asking, because on TV this week I've been watching the "Cajun Navy" pull one Dunkirk after another all around the Gulf Coast.

And those good old boys look like they just came off the set of "Duck Dynasty." They could be wearing MAGA hats. Hell, I'll bet one or two of them may have even been falsely accused of committing a fake hate crime or two since the election by some unhinged Social Justice Warrior.

They are, to coin a phrase, deplorables.

Hell, a Chick-fil-A franchise in Houston sent out a power boat to rescue a couple of elderly customers, which is exactly one more rescue boat than George Soros, Tom Steyer, Evergreen State, Black Lives Matter and moveon.org have dispatched .... combined.

And the old folks didn't even ask if Chick-fil-A's CEO is still opposed to gay marriage.

Is Michael Moore hosting an All-U-Can-Eat buffet for first responders in Harris County? If he were, surely MSNBC would be covering it, live.

Where are Elizabeth Warren, Whoopi Goldberg, Steven Colbert, etc. etc.?

Seriously, doesn't it look like almost all of the heavy lifting in the wake of Harvey is being done by people who belong to what the Southern Poverty Law Center would describe as "hate groups?"

Speaking of which, when does the SPLC's food drive begin?

Are the non-workers of the Socialist Workers Party and the Spartacist League loading any southbound 18-wheelers with relief supplies this weekend?

Maybe everyone in "the Resistance" is worn out from wearing pink hats and black masks and tipping over statues and sucker punching passersby with bicycle locks in Berkeley and grabbing an old lady's flag on the Boston Common and burning it – all those wonderful manifestations of how Love Trumps Hate, as they say.

Of course, it's the last weekend of summer, so you can't expect the likes of Jeffrey Epstein to be scrambling his private 747 out of the Hamptons to airlift foodstuffs to Galveston and Beaumont. You can't be asking Brooklyn hipsters or Occupy Wall Street to occupy a relief shelter when the Beautiful People are jetting into Nantucket for brunch at the Chanticleer Inn.

Besides, as assorted adjunct professors at third-rate colleges have been tweeting out all week, those are Trump voters stranded down there in the Lone Star State – bitter clingers and irredeemables.

Do we even know if the Salvation Army has transgender bathrooms at its shelter in Port Arthur?

It's Labor Day and Jerry Lewis is gone, but maybe Colin Kaepernick could stage a Harvey telethon outside NFL headquarters on Park Avenue. Why should J.J. Watt and his white privilege have all the fun raising charitable donations?

Then there's John Kerry – he did sell his second wife's first husband's trust fund's yacht when he moved from Nantucket to the Vineyard, but he could still enlist in the Cajun Navy. America's Gigolo has other plans this weekend, though. According to The Hill, Liveshot is busy – "Kerry races to save American cycling team."

Well, first things first.

"Kerry, an avid cyclist, has been working the phones to find new supporters for the team, Cannondale-Drapac, after one of its lead sponsors pulled its funding unexpectedly last week." Now there is a real tragedy!

How about the Clinton Foundation? They have more money than God, but if you go to their website, all it has is a list of links to other organizations. For flood relief, I guess it takes a village, but not the Clinton Foundation.

Hillary is about to begin her new book tour. It only costs $2400 per person to attend the Toronto fete. How about a charity book signing in Lafayette LA? Call it, "Harvey – What Happened?"

Al Gore's new "documentary" is tanking. Maybe he should offer free showings to the volunteer Tea Party types trying to lend a hand.

Joel Osteen took a lot of grief this week, but his church is open. Has anyone seen La Raza? Which of his three mansions is Bernie Sanders opening for flood victims?

Victims of Hurricane Harvey, when the phone don't ring, you'll know it's #resist."

Email of the Day...

Email from my Firearms instructor:

Who says our leftist media is agenda-driven and hopelessly  dishonest? NY Times editorialists, in attempting to describe the violent street-gang  problem that is currently consuming Wilmington, DE, Baltimore, MD, et al,  laughingly refer to unlawfully armed gangs of violent urban thugs as:
“street crews,”as if criminal gang-bangers were out there diligently filling  pot-holes!

With self-conferred titles like, “Shoot to Kill,” these “street crews”must stay busy!

It strikes me that referring to aggressive, sociopathic gangs as “street crews” represents a deliberate deception.

Instead of identifying and condemning violent criminals, NY Times editors (and leftist counterparts at Chicago Tribune, LA Times, Washington Post, et al) apparently find it requires much less effort, and personal honesty, to just wail  incessantly about “gun violence,”and the very existence of our Second  Amendment.

They are a disgrace!

" ‘Media’ is just a word that has come to mean ‘bad journalism.’ ” - Graham Greene

/Jon

 And my response:

Hi Jon,

Got your email today.

“Street Crews” will last just as long as it takes for people to understand that it actually means “urban thugs”. As soon as that happens they will find another “new” name for them. The “thing” will tarnish the name.

You can’t really clean up/alter/hide reality by calling it something else. That’s a failed tactic of the Left. Reality always eventually accrues to the word…not the other way around.

Negroes have been trying to defy this since the 50’s…with the various and continuous changes to what they demand to be called.

We’ve gone from nigra/nigger (nothing more than an old Southern pronunciation of “Negro”) to:

  • Colored
  • Negro
  • Afro-American
  • Black
  • African American
  • Person of Color

As soon as the name becomes too completely associated with the race, they feel the need to change it.

It is, in my opinion, a form of self-hate by the liberal/leftist “leadership” of the racialist movement.  As soon as a title is completely identified with its subject, it has to be changed to a new, fresh, “clean”, un-stigmatized, un-tarnished word.

It’s kind of sad. It’s as though they hate themselves so much, that they always want to call themselves by some name that doesn’t actually describe them—or is too closely associated with their real selves/looks/behavior/culture/language/history.

Meantime, Whites have just been called “White” the whole time. And we’re cool with it.

(This is NOT, of course, to disagree with your assessment that our “media” is hopelessly dishonest. They absolutely are. I just don’t think they’ll win at this in the end.)

Comment of the Day

"I think the sheer lunacy of the hate Trump, and bring down Trump campaigns of the media will have unintended consequences.

After experiencing the constant shouting demented anger and expletives that the media now wallows in, it's harder and harder for any but the most uninformed among us not to realize what the media has become.

There is no pretense any more of objectivity or professionalism. They are a laughing stock, and utterly unworthy of any respect.

The so-called fourth estate was granted a special privilege in our society because of the important role in informing the populace so they could carry out their responsibility as citizens. It is impossible any longer to pretend that the media does any such thing.

They must be stripped of their special status and their lies and withholding of information that they don't like has to prosecuted as criminal behavior."

DACA

Let me see if I've got this straight...

If I hack YOUR financial data, and steal all your money, stocks, investments etc. and I set up a trust fund for my kids with it, when I get busted for the theft, and you want your money back, I get to argue that....

"...you can't take that money from my KIDS! They have DREAMS for that money! And after all, THEY didn't steal it. Why should they be punished for what I did?"

And Ă˜bama and the democrats agree with me!

So, the children of thieves and criminals get to keep the ill-gotten gains, and the victims (and THEIR children) from whom they* were stolen should just shut up, suck it up and do without?

Did I miss anything??
